The good news is there is more activity in the new business world. The bad news is the competition will be tough for each account. Every agency thinks they are perfect for every client.
A common line we hear from agencies is, “Just let us in the review, we’ll be the wild card.” Our role as a review consultant is to bring our clients a range of agencies that meet their selection criteria. There are some criteria that each agency must meet in order to be a part of the process. We’ve discussed a few of them in this blog over the last couple of weeks – size, geography and relevant experience.
Clients look to Pile to bring them viable agency options. Selecting a new agency is an important business decision and going through a thorough agency review process is an investment of time and money. Clients aren’t interested in a “wild card”. They want an agency that has a proven experience in areas that they deem as important. In this economic climate, most clients don’t have a huge appetite for risk.
