More than 305,000 Massachusetts children 12 years old and younger live in poor or low-income households. In any given year, more than 100,000 Massachusetts children will experience homelessness.*
Pile and Company had the privilege of volunteering recently at the non-profit organization, Cradles to Crayons. For over ten years, C2C has provided children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive— at home, at school and at play.
We volunteered right before the holidays at C2C’s Giving Factory warehouse—where we inspected, sorted, and packaged all new and like-new donations into customized “KidPacks.”
Last year, Cradles to Crayons provided, free of charge, packages of clothes, shoes, books, toys, baby safety equipment and school supplies to 87,000 children in Massachusetts and the Philadelphia area.
Thank you Cradles to Crayons for the invaluable work that you do and for such an inspiring day! For more information, please visit www.cradlestocrayons.org.
